Practitioners of Komyo ReikiDo Melbourne are not licensed medical/healthcare practitioners. They do not prescribe substances & will not interfere with the treatment of a client by a licensed medical/healthcare professional.​

Payment
For Reiki Treatments, payment is to be settled before appointment by cash, credit card or EFT. For Komyo Reiki Courses, deposits are required at the time of booking & balance is to be paid one week before the day of training. Usui prints will not be sent unless paid for.

Promotions & Special Deals
Promotions & special deals may have their own conditions.  Please check the flyer for details. Expiry dates of these deals are at the discretion of Komyo ReikiDo Melbourne & its representatives. Any promotion or special deal may be withdrawn without notice.

Concessions For Students & Pensioners
Students must be studying full time & pensioners must hold a government pension card before discounts will be given.

 
Refunds
Courses - Refunds will be paid if Komyo ReikiDo Melbourne or its representatives cancel a course. 

 

If student conduct is deemed inappropriate, training will cease. 50% of the fee will be refunded if training ceases on the first day.

 

If a student cancels before the course begins, the deposit is transferable but not refundable.  Deposit can be used within 6 months of the original class date otherwise it is forfeit.

Reiki Share, Online or In-person - No refunds if you have prepaid and not turned up.

Reiki Rest Restore - No refunds unless someone else takes your place. A waiting list will be created if fully booked. Entry will be refused if cold/flu-like symptoms are exhibited. If you are not well, please do not attend. 

 
Treatments - payments are not refundable once treatment commences. Entry will be refused if cold/flu-like symptoms are exhibited. If you are not well, please do not attend.  Any fees paid before arrival may be used for the rescheduled appointment.

Prints - no refunds on Mikao Usui prints.  All prints are inspected before posting.  Specialty packaging provides sufficient protection against creasing, 'dog ears' & is resistant to water damage. Tracking is supplied on all prints. If tracking shows that delivery was made to the address supplied then no refunds on lost parcels.

 
Cancellations re Treatments
Cancellation fees of 50% may be charged for 'no shows'.  Reminders are sent 24 hours before your appointment so please confirm or cancel at that time.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your appointment may not be extended. If there are back to back appointments, your session will be shortened accordingly at full cost. If you decide to cancel after arrival, 50% cancellation fee.
 

Medical Conditions
Health Questionnaires will be required before your private yoga sessions, Reiki appointments or Meditation Course. To provide the best service possible, information must be complete & factual.  If there is any change to your health, you should inform your practitioner before your next treatment commences. Written permission from your conventional healthcare professional may be required before your appointment.

For the beginners meditation course, if you are seeing a mental health professional, then written permission may be required before the course begins as meditation may not be suitable for you.

 

All information collected will be kept strictly confidential & will not be divulged unless legally required to do so.

Hygiene protocols are in place for the safety of clients & students. Extra precautions are taken to ensure the health of all who use the clinic room & studio. Click here to read Hygiene Protocols.

Consent

Consent must be signed before each appointment regardless of any change in your health. 

Treating Minors/children

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.  Forms must be signed by guardian/parent. No signature, no treatment.  A parent/guardian is required to remain in the treatment room for the entire session.

Mikao Usui Prints

Usui Mikao print by Sally Wain is subject to copyright. Images or copies of Usui Mikao prints by Sally Wain, part or whole, may not be used for re-sale, advertisements, promotions or any marketing material without written permission by Sally Wain.

Sorry no refunds. All prints are inspected before posting. Specialty packaging made from rigid cardboard will protect the print against creasing & 'dog ears' while being transported via Australia Post or International Post. Packaging is also thick enough to be water resistant.

Tracking is supplied once item is posted. Replacements for lost prints, will not be given if tracking delivers to the address supplied.

Delivery to remote areas may be unreliable & may take longer than delivery times indicated.

Cost of the print, packing & postage are subject to change without notice. Any increase in price from the printer or Australia Post will be passed on to customers.

Complaints

Complaints will be handled with respect & courtesy.  If your complaint cannot be resolved personally then it will be passed on to a Reiki Association for investigation & resolution. For serious complaints in regards to breaches in the National Code of Conduct, you have the right to complain direct to the Health Complaints Commissioner.

Reiki Training & Advancement

Komyo ReikiDo reserves the right not to advance a student should practice requirements not be met or after class material has not been completed. It is not the required time period between courses that qualifies a student to advance but the evidence of commitment in their practice by sight and/or by the content of written class material. Exams, orally or written will be required at Shinpiden level. 

PLEASE NOTE :  Komyo ReikiDo Melbourne reserves the right to refuse service and/or training.  Behaviour deemed inappropriate will result in service and/or training being withdrawn.  Should this occur, any paid deposits will be forfeit.  If necessary, security and/or police may be contacted.
